Automated Column Manufacturing Line Automated decorative column manufacturing line. Wireless mold carts are transferred to a fill station where plural components (matrix, catalyst, fiberglass strands) are delivered into the mold through a mix head. The mold is closed and then spun (centrifical casting) during transfer of the mold through the line. The mold is opened and the column is removed. Component volumes (recipes) are selectable and adjustable through a pc-based operator interface. All molds and mold carts are RFID tagged for process control, data acquisition, and auditing. |
